Olive Torres has always considered herself the unlucky twin, while her sister Ami seems to win at everything. When almost everyone at Ami’s wedding gets food poisoning, only Olive and her sworn enemy Ethan remain unaffected. They reluctantly agree to take the newlyweds’ free honeymoon to Maui together, pretending to be a married couple. Their fake honeymoon gradually changes the way they see each other, and Olive begins to wonder whether her luck might finally be changing.
